America’s Trades Foundation, a leading advocate in providing financial support for students embarking on careers in the skilled trades, announced a major campaign to raise an additional $50,000 in scholarships by the end of this September.
“America’s Trades Foundation actively advocates for the next generation of skilled tradespeople, recognizing their indispensable role in shaping the future workforce,” said Gerard Grim, Chairman. “As America rebuilds its infrastructure, we want to support the next generation of those who are training to join this highly skilled workforce. Our Fall campaign is asking local business, skilled tradespeople, and other supporters to help us raise and additional one hundred $500 scholarships for new students”, he added.
“Our mission is to provide scholarships for students pursuing a career in the skilled trades.” said Dena Baptiste, Treasurer. “Recent high school graduates entering an accredited institution to study a skilled-trades program are eligible. More men and women are hearing the call to enter the trades, and our Fall Scholarship campaign hopes to support 100 local and regional students”, she added.
“We are asking those who support the skilled trades to join us in championing this cause and contributing to our mission through the G.R.A.D. program”, said Pat Moran, Secretary. “As a business owner, we depend on highly skilled tradespeople. I would encourage other business owners to help us support the next generation of workers entering this critically important industry as well”, he added.
