New Book “The Leadership Genius of Elon Musk” Offers Insights for “the Haters”

The author of the well-timed new book, “The Leadership Genius of Elon Musk,” has revealed Eleven Lessons of Elon that explain the methods and motivations responsible for the enormous success of the controversial billionaire.

Dennis Kneale, a longtime journalist (Wall Street Journal, Forbes, CNBC, Fox Business) and host of the podcast “What’s Bugging Me” on the Ricochet platform, said he is releasing the Eleven Lessons in detail.

Critics of Musk’s efforts in leading the Department of Government Efficiency could learn keen insights about the way Elon thinks, the author says. “The more the haters come out against him, the more salient are the Eleven Lessons of Elon. Instead of hating them, they could seek to understand him,” Kneale adds.

The scope of the lessons in “The Leadership Genius of Elon Musk” goes even farther. “My hope is people can use these lessons to help them build a better life. Or, at the least, the Eleven Lessons of Elon can help people feel better about the life they have,” he adds.

Here are the Eleven Lessons of Elon:

Lesson 1: This All May Be Fake, So Just Go for It.

Elon’s belief in the Matrix enables and empowers all else that follows.

Lesson 2: Reduce, Reduce, Reduce.

In a world of incredible, increasing complexity, simplify.

Lesson 3: The Highest Nail Gets Pounded Down First. So Strap on a Helmet.

                When the Establishment attacks.

Lesson 4: Tease Your Critics and Torture Your Enemies.

                Declaring war on short sellers.

Lesson 5: Most People Are Loafers. Work Harder than You Ever Have Before.

Emailing staff after midnight, telling them to show up at 2:00 p.m. with proof of coding.

Lesson 6: Free Speech Is Everything. Stand Up and Be Heard.

The Twitter Files and Musk’s Montoya moment on CNBC.

Lesson 7: On the Media: to Hell with Them. They Are Shameless Shills.

The BBC takedown. Why your PR department is a waste of time.

Lesson 8: Dream Huge! And Be Willing to Spend Decades Pursuing It.

Twenty years ago, Elon Musk wanted to go to Mars. He still does.

Lesson 9: Always Bet on Yourself, and Double Down.

                 Early days. Zip2, PayPal, SpaceX.

Lesson 10: It Is Better to Launch and Burn than Never to Launch at All.

                  Progress and setbacks at SpaceX.

Lesson 11: The Most Likely Outcome Is Often the Most Ironic One.

How to anticipate the flukes, surprises, and setbacks of life.
