RISING INTERNATIONAL INTEREST IN ‘THE LEADERSHIP GENIUS OF ELON MUSK’

The new book “The Leadership Genius of Elon Musk,” published by HarperCollins, is sparking rising international interest even before its official release date on January 28, 2025.

Publishers in Russia, Brazil, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic have signed new deals to publish the book in their markets. A paperback version is planned for India. In Australia, the  HarperCollins unit, anticipating high demand, is printing the book locally. An Australian news website (news.com.au) plans to publish two excerpts based on the new title.

In New Zealand, a top-rated “talkback” radio show, Newstalk ZB, is interviewing the book’s author. In Canada, as well, a popular podcast, “The Hub,” will air an interview in February.

“It is great to see. Elon Musk is a distinctly American phenomenon, yet he is a hero who sparks fascination around the world,” says Dennis Kneale, author of the new book and host of the podcast “What’s Bugging Me” on Ricochet.

“The Leadership Genius of Elon Musk” offers Eleven Lessons of Elon, one in each chapter. “The lessons are aimed at helping readers build a better life by looking at ‘what would Elon do?’” Kneale says.

Lesson 1 kicks off the book thusly: “This All May Be Fake, So Just Go For It.” This explores Musk’s abiding belief that we may be living inside a computer simulation so advanced we are unable to distinguish it from reality. “This frees up Elon to live larger, take huge risks, and tackle the impossible because, what the heck, this all may be just a game anyway,” Kneale explains.

Even if people don’t buy Elon’s bizarre assumption, Kneale avers, its plausible possibility can help us live larger, more exciting lives, too. As the poet Henry David Thoreau said, “The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.”

“More of us need to stand up and be heard, to break out and live up to life’s true potential,” Kneale says. “This book can show people how to do it, Elon’s way.”
